SOCIAL MINISTRY
The purpose of this committee shall be to provide leadership for the congregation’s effort to live by faith active in love by motivating equipping and supporting members to visit the sick, the infirm, and the imprisoned; to minister to the poor and the distressed; to serve as Christians in all the institutions and structures of society of which they are part; and individually and corporately to foster justice and inclusiveness, overcome oppression, alleviate suffering, and care for the earth, out of a global/ local context.
Rally Day Picnic
2nd Sunday of September
Social Ministry collaborated with Christian Education for a Rally Day picnic. This celebrates the kick off of Sunday School after a long peaceful summer.
Community Fall Festival
November 2, 2025
Trunk or Treating, Carnival Games, Hotdogs, Smores, tacos, live music and so much more. This community event collaborates with the Smoky Valley Community, Bethany College and Bethany Church.
Dala Pantry
