Greetings, My name is Joyce Peterson!
My husband Mark and I have three grown sons, two daugthers in law and two grandchildren. I have worked at Bethany Church since 1984. My favorite part of my job is building relationships with families. I'm also a counselor in USD 400. My favorite Bible Verse, "This is the day the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

My Name is Ericka Lysell and I am married to Jeremy Alkire and a mom to Grant and Sawyer, although I claim all of my youth group kids as my own. I previously held an interim position of youth director, so this will be 5 years for me as the Youth Director of Bethany Church. I am a lifetime Lindsborg resident and Bethany Lutheran member, except for the 4 years I attended KU (Rock Chalk!) I hold a masters degree in social work and mental health. Preventing suicide is one of my passions.

Welcome to Bethany Church! We are so glad you are here. My name is Melanie Rishel and I have been working as the Administrative Assistant since June of 2017.
My daughter and I have lived in the Lindsborg area for 27 years. We feel very blessed to be apart of such a wonderful Swedish Community.

Genevieve Bishop
My name is Genevieve Elizabeth Meditz Bishop and I have been serving as the Bethany Lutheran Church Organist since 1989. I received a BA in Organ Performance at Bethany College in May of 1985. My late husband, Roger was Professor of Psychology at Bethany College. Together we have 4 children.
Leah Ann Anderson
My name is Leah Ann Anderson. I was baptized, confirmed, and married in Bethany Lutheran Church. I have been the director of the Bethany Church Men’s Choir since 1986. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO, a Master of Music degree from Wichita State University, and a Master of Science degree from Kansas State University. My husband, Marv, and I live in Lindsborg. We have two grown sons and three grandchildren.
Brittney English
My name is Britney English. Currently I am a vocal music educator with the Smoky Valley School District.I am married to Alan English, PhD, who is a Professor of Education at Bethany College. We have two sons, Starting in January of 2022. I currently serve as the Chancel Choir & Children's Choir Director.
